Type /remind into any Slack conversation to set a reminder

Slack has a clever way to remind you about to-dos, events, and anything else you or others on your team need to do. Just type /remind followed by the name of the person to remind, the thing to get reminded about, and the time for the reminder. For example, /remind <a href='/u/awwstn'>@awwstn</a> Feed the fish on Tuesday would send @awwstn a Feed the fish reminder on this coming Tuesday. The bot is pretty good at parsing dates and times in plain English, but you may need to experiment a bit to get it right.

Or, if you need reminded about a specific Slack message—something I use often to get reminded about tasks from Slack conversations when they need done later—click the .. button beside any message, select Remind me about this, then choose when you want reminded. Slack will then send you a notification about that message in your Slackbot channel at the time selected.
