Traditionally you receive notification on your iPhone but when you have paired Apple Watch and your iPhone is locked or in sleep mode then you can view these notifications on your Apple Watch. On your Apple Watch, apps appear on your Home screen. Press the Digital Crown to see the Home screen.   2. Tap Search to find apps using Scribble or Dictation, or scroll down to discover featured apps and curated app collections.
  3. Tap an app to see its description, ratings and reviews, screenshots, release notes, and more.
  4. Tap the price or tap Get.
  5. When prompted, double-click the side button to download and install the app.

In the latest release of Slack for iOS, the company has removed its Apple Watch counterpart as a whole. So, for those who were hopeful that the Watch app would go independent, this is sad news.
